Muse man I would be happy with a snapper that big nice job.

Dale whats this about an E yak ? Do tell.
I have my doubts that the surf will drop. Its showing up to 1.9m now even though swellmap is at .8m and all onshore winds in the next few days even if light.

I went to Smart Marine today and bought some new jigheads and softies. Got some bright white gulps that look like a paddle tail.

Awesome fish Shane. Heading to east cape this weekend with the Eastern BOP kayak club. Must admit even though i have a jet ski. I love kayak fishing. Most definitely my favorite way of catching fish.

Muse is taking the piss Tongue, but if I had the spare cash, I'd prob get a Bixby.

Yeah its looking like one of those long last lazy summer swells. If it drops a bit I'll be keen.

I need to get into town to get some of Uncles tarakihi rigs, bees knees they are.

Cant do the weekend, so fingers crossed for Friday.

I'm sure you could sell that ski on Trademe Allpom...

Smart Marine? I didn't even know they had a shop here. How long have they been open?

Hi long time listener first time caller here.  Based on Pap Beach road near pacific view.
I've been off water for few months with a broken leg; (Except for one harbor fish) and am looking at going off Papamoa on Friday AM, any clues on what Snapps are up to?

Kani, Ponies, do tell about Friday if you go. I am hitting desperation so will look at Saturday early and possibly just take on the 0.9m swell and 12 knot easterly. But only if you guys do well tomorrow...

Will do Mark.

I have school drop off, so won't be on the water to around 9:15am. Taking my Tarakihi gear, to give that a shot. Launching from Harrisons, if anyone is keen to join me.
