Anywhere from about 800m out but best at 20-25 m 2kms out as there are foul patches. All this fresh water may not help in closer.

Went for a jog down to the domain at 7.30am looked pretty good light rain, glassy and tiny waves. Saw Muse heading up to the ponyclub on the way back so intercepted him and he was going back to the Domain for a crack.

My nephew is borrowing my 2nd yak tomorrow. Hes not a yak fisherman but outfishes me when he does come out Embarrassed

Me and Cam man turned up at domain round 6:30 and it was pouring down so decided to flag it . When I got home it had stopped raining so I went back .

Cheers Piwi for the directions ! Negotiated the tiny surf and paddled out then it started pouring again !

Drift was down towards the mount . Got one at 450mm and one 390mm and a few bites went dead around 10am
