Yes Almost need a facemask on. Only will do this with 1 person in. Any more top speed at WOT drops quite dramatically.

Heres my first boat, its a sportman craft, 5.2m, australian built thing. Cant seem to find much about them online, only the older models. Goes well and seems to handle the chop well, although havnt been out in any real rough conditions.
Powered by a suzuki 115hp 2 stroke. Slowly tidying a few things up like missing or rusty bolts, trailer brakes not even going Confused bolts holding aux bracket on were rotten Shocked got a couple of new wobbly rollers as the old ones were just sitting there, gave it a good cut and polish and came up good. Will do me for learing the basics than on to bigger and better i feel.

2016 Reflex Chianti 585 with 2016 Mercury 150 4 stroke, sitting on mudgeway trailer.
Only 17 hrs on it and working the kinks out of it, but managed to get 20knts @3000 rpm for 17 liters/hr up at the mussel farms a couple of days ago. Massive change from the old Bonito hydrolift mk3

Very nice. In fact one of the best - looks like its closely related to Haines Signature and Select. I like the relatively high screen - the modern trend for silly little screens, is bad.

Well, guess I can contribute to this thread now! :D

Make/model: Rayglass 670 Sportsman
Motor: Mercruiser 530D-TA turbodiesel, 150hp
Top Speed: approx. 30 knots
Cruise: 22 knots at 12l/h

Awesome ride, seatrial was in 2-3ft sea and we were creaming along at full throttle (or what there is of it... see my other thread!) - but still very comfortable.
Diesel is economical, easy to start, and much more peace of mind.
Nice top with clears.

Dislike:
There's no galley, so you've got to carry your own bottled water and a little stove.
No privacy when using the head. More an issue for the recumbent urinators in our midst.
It's HEAVY! I'm sure I made a mistake but by measuring the tyres' contact patches and calculating using tyre pressure, it weighs over 3 tons on the trailer.

Was 22knts at 12lph from the salesman? I wouldn't budget my fuel on that number until I had proved it.

When people talk litres per hour (particularly on a diesel) are they taking litres per engine hour (taken off the tachometer) or elapsed hour (off your wristwatch?) Dave, you might like to comment?

Personally I go off engine hours. Tagit, that economy figure was from the salesman, but my own observation is close enough that I haven't bothered to check it. We've done about 3-4 hours of motoring and have yet to use a quarter tank. Tank is approx 200lt if I remember right.
