Thanks for sharing Alan, isn't Nature marvelous, are they not a superb creature that we hunt, shame we do kill them however they die out there in the Ocean sooner or later.
I have been Marlin fishing now for over 40 years and they still amaze me how dumb they are at times, other times so frustrating to hook. Still a challenge to catch solo consistently from trailer boats n NZ.
Just luv it. Are you still catching them Alan?
cheers swordfishsteveSmileWink

Thanks Al,

With you there Steve.

The elegance of there movements, the light up of stripes suggested something primeval and alien at the same time.

Did you notice the controlled pace and the limited energy explosion and then the cruise to pick up the damaged fish from the strike.

When that fish ran the energy of its explosions to freedom were quite a sight.
I also noticed the huge swave through the water the line makes exampling the loads on that part of the gear.

Quite beautiful action for a fisherman and enormous respect for our prey.

Thanks Al.
Just cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!
