While puka fishing out of Tutukaka over the weekend we had a 180 - 200kg sword chase our puka up to the surface. Pitched a blue kohe at it but all it wanted was the 20kg puka. May aswell dust the game gear off now.

That's a good one. Bet that got the blood pumping. Wonder if that's the same spot I hooked one puka fishing a few years ago.

2 weeks ago pulled in 5 hapuka on a dropper near the nolls had a monster shark follow them in it was all on he got none, almost jaws revisited. best fish easy 25kgs
