nice. i tried towing one of those rapala deep divers and the resistance was too big for my liking. thought i might bust a rod holder. how'd you get on with it from that point of view?

What kind of fishing kit do you have? Most of my rod holders are reinforced so it would take a fair bit of force to dislodge it, they do have a fair bit of resistance in the water when you start going over 6 knots though

i have fairly solid fish holders at back and front, but didn't want to risk it. i thought pressure + vibration from the lure = problems!
