Does it have a distress button as well? I am surprised that DSC Distress calling is not encouraged in NZ. In fact, very few people even know what it is and/or how it works. The beauty of it is that it will send your position and a distress alert to other VHFs in the area with DSC equipped radios - great for kayakers in my opinion. |
