I made a bit of a vid from the footage I got during last Saturdays epic bluefin bite. We caught 5 total (tagged 3, landed 2). Unfortunately missed the carnage of our quadruple hookup. Enjoy.

Not sure what others are using, I had my lures rigged with 200lb as had read somewhere that they can be line shy, my mate had his rigged with 300lb. All lures got hits so not sure it made much difference in our hit rate.

 yea  traditionally i have rigged my tuna and smaller lures on 200 lb and  they do swim better 

 for  the  size of the fish  treating them like yellow fin seams to an ok way

I agree with comments and use 200 myself.
I received this pic today from fizz at Waihou and it looks like a lure from my lure bag lolol.😉
