I don't have SKY TV to see it live...  I believe it will be on Prime TV at 6.30am as a delayed coverage.

Yeah, I will be the only one up in our house at five, cheering our boys home.
Well not quite on my own as the cat jumps up and takes a very keen interest in the TV too.

Should we start a poll on how long it takes the yanks to cheat or change the rules?
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.

Great start by the Team NZ. They certainly appear to have better boat speed in those conditions. I sadly however recall that was the case in 2013 until the yanks turned things around when they found boat speed of their own. Good first up effort by Team NZ now they just need to keep it foiling along.

They already have
A defender racing against the challenger in a series to see how challenges?
Carrying forward points from a different competition in different boats.

To me its like the ABs getting a 10 point start in all tests because they won the last world cup.

Dont get me wrong, I absolute love it and unless Im in hospital I wont miss a race  but Oricle has dont their best to make sure that they dont lose it even into financing the Japanese boat so that they can utilize some of it as spares even down to being able to use a complete hull.

It's their tradition. When Lipton was racing for the cup with his shamrock boats. Americans had the rule that he had to first sail his boat over across the Atlantic and then race the american light weight boats in sheltered waters.

If  we do win there will be no taking anything away from them but Oricale will do their best to make excuses.

Selling the cup venue to Bermuda for a start of is bad. Great for Oricale to want to do that but how can they try to dictate what our home pitch is?
