Time to respool my TLD25 and want to put on a good mono - would prefer something without a lot of stretch (don't want to use braid on this). Suggestions?

Momoi, has been really good for me.
I hear the Veritas lines is not too bad either, never used it though

I've never tried it, but this mono is supposed to have the same stretch as braid.

x2. The folks at Big Fish loaded mine with 24kg Momoi off a bulk spool when I bought the reel off them. It seems like a quality line. I've seen a few well-known fishos recommend Momoi in various articles.

Suffix synergy........From discount fishing online.........Great price....large capacity spool....thin for its weight....get the heaviest...its not much thicker than 15kg line.....has braid like qualities....low stretch.....high abrasion resist.
Tried platypus and it went off after a few sessions..........try to wash off saltwater as much as you can after each session....even put some line in the sink and gently tap water over the spool to wash away salt......Good ****.

I hope you were referring to Colin@discount fishing in a good natured banter sort of way. Colins a good mate of mine and is far from being a dickhead as you refer to but in saying that I know he doesn't suffer dickheads lightly.

Thanks for comments. Have put on the Platypus low stretch - considered Moimoi but at 3-4 times the price I didn't think it was worth the difference and the shop I went to didn't have the Sufix in stock.

Feels like a nice line and is thinner than the old line I took off and has a higher rating. Has a little bit of stretch too so looking forward to trying it out.
