Hey Phil OH or spin, might help to know what your after.
Also from experience PE8 is a better starting point IMO.
Don't wanna go up there under gunned mate.

Mm another story haven't seen many reels on here lately. You gonna be mostly jigging or livebaiting?
More options if your just livebaiting but if you're mostly jigging try to get a good dedicated jigging reel.
Things to consider for three kings are 15kg of smooth drag, capacity of 300m of pe8.
I like accurate reels, but plenty of other options too.

A group of keen overseas jiggers and a friend just came back from 3 kings , the did 6 days and mainly on middlesex bank. Below is some of the gear they used as an indication

Jigging Master PE7, Jigging Master PE5N, Shimano Ocea Jigger 4000, Accurate Boss Magnum 665H narrow, Studio Ocean Mark Blue Heaven L120 Hi, Shimano Stella SW14k XG (2013), SW10k HG (2008) and SW8k HG (2008); lines: Sunline PE Jigger 8 HG (PE6&8), Varivas Avani GT Max (PE6&7); leaders: Seaguar flurocarbon 150lb, 175lb and 200lb, Sunline mono 150lb
