Handmade in Japan by Captain Nakajima with a combination of foil, hologram and shell finish. With a history of lure building since 1970 and getting into production lure building since 1990 these lures are an absolute work of art. They are highly prised by many anglers as a lure that not only catches fish, but are some of the most beautiful to look at,

A floating stickbait, that casts like a bullet and swims extremely well in rough conditions. With a gentle sweep of the rod tip they dive subsurface with a tail splash followed by a wide tail dart and rolling action before resurfacing on a 45 - 50 degree angle.

Introduction of the latest UV paint ensures the lure will not fade from sunlight.

just got one of these , beautiful lure and easy to fish -can keep it subsurface if you want to in rough conditions by keeping some tension on the lure , looks like Anesh has caught plenty of kingis on them .

Looking froward to pics of the fish you catch on them Rory.

Landed over 30 kingfish on the Nakajima Diving Pencil over last summer.

Hi lbd , I paid $210 for mine , check out Aneshs website he's got some interesting stickbaits at some good prices ; I really like the Nature Boys Paulownsia which is about $85 and swims really well , again with singles . I 'm sure Anesh wouldn't mind sending lures to Australia ! Whats the deal with the Stella guy ??

Thanks for the info legacy.........will have a look...ref the stella ......The guy had obviously been stung by someone from overseas ...so was reluctant to post overseas.......which i am glad because it helped me resist my TAS LOL...I was thinking i might go to the dark side one day but that has helped me stay an overhead man.
p.s I think i have one of those nature boys paulownsia sticks....what a name for a lure.

paulonia, its a tree it seems. Same wood as used in most of the top end Jap lures apparently :)

Yeah and ditto on the Nature Boys lure, first lure thats been added to my collection in a long time, due to past ridiculous TAS resulting in an oversupply Embarrassed

Paulownia, it is a hardwoord, slightly heavier than balsa but not too much, is used extensively for better cabinetry etc, as being a hardwood, it doesn't warp or deform as much as softwoods like pine etc.
It is only my overwhelming natural humility that mars my perfection.
