Gidday Team,

I'm heading up to Pauanui this weekend to have a crack at some gamefish from our 1850 stabi. Planning at this stage on heading out to the Aldermans and tow some lures, or chuck out a livey if we get one. Understand the fish are a bit scarce this year but keen to have a crack regardless.

Any tips/tricks would be much appreciated, feel free to flick me a PM too.

Louis

There is a lot of pins north of the aldies which hold kingfish and bait.  A lot of stripies are pulled from there.  Further north the hook can look like a marina and also holds it's fair share of fish.  For Blues, the squeezed up contour lines from 2-500 north of the Aldermans aren't a bad place to start.

Not many fish down there so good luck.

Cheers

DA
