Have just had a sounder installed in the glovebox lid on my 2011 GTS130 (Same as a GTI130). Can upload a couple of photos if you're interested?

Pretty sure the glovebox design is similar enough

Different ski, different  sounder, but I have mine on the glove box lid. As far as mounting goes, as long as the mount sits pretty much flat on the surface, I can't see a problem. Make sure that you can turn the handlebars fully!

Same as above, different ski & different sounder but the concept is the same. Sounder is flush mounted into the glovebox lid and doesn't take up much of the glove box room.

I have a larger Lowrance Elite 7 chirp from my old boat and am having it installed on a bracket forward of the handlebars by Andrew Hill over at jetskifishing.co.nz in the next week or two.
It has a cover by Rob Fort that keeps it nice and dry in use.

I sucessfully installed my Lowrance Elite-4x CHIRP by carefully cutting a hole in my Seadoo's glovebox and found Kirk Davis's video very helpful -> http://www.jetskifishingchannel.co.nz/tips

I don't use my main battery for the FF but runs it off a small 12volt sealed battery I store in the glovebox under the FF cabling; battery last about 6 hours if run non-stop and get charged pre-fishing sessions.

If only I can get the settings right to identify fish....Confused
