All doubles retied this afternoon, rigging kit shopping list made and lure porn reviewed.  Thinking about leaving the Joe Yees at home given how pricey\collectable they are now.

Later in the week looking like a possibility Shane.

Checked out all my lures that I'm taking for our 10 day trip. Found 2 lures with bill rash on leader that we never spotted any marlin presence… probably sleeping😴😴💤💤

Not that I was fishing but we were heading north on ship a few days back , some nice current lines and good looking water about 10 miles east of the knights. Dolphins , whales and what could have been tuna breaking the surface in the distance.
As we rounded the cape and headed south similar action out of Ahipara , tuna boats also.

Hope the marlin hook up goes well.

Shakedown cruise today. Saw gametime on the fish. Dolphins and gannets around 220 north of the V. Moved south to the V, great currents, big temp changes but no sign of fish. Bait down deep (~100m) and not under pressure and then some more fish 50m under it.
