Nice fish? Closest we got was some bill rash. Plenty of xos ablies. We were getting attacked 2 at a time. Slowed us down a bit but good seeing plenty of birds and bait around

Cheers for weighing our fish scotty. Was caught in 350m. Put up a nice little scrap but 50mins in it came. Really nice water out there with patchy bait. Not bad 2 fish now from 3days this season. Cant complain.

Had our chance today at a
Marlin today which unfortunately pulled the hooks about 30 minutes into the fight.

Nice fish which did a hell of a
First Run peeling 800m of
37kg.

Decided to eat the small
Shotgun Zuker zukuni which was Interesting. Luckily rigged a Bit heavier for this scenario.

Hooked up at 130m where there was plenty of Sauri and also a few skippies and albies.

Seemed 90-100m also had a fair bit of action so there must be a few around.

Good sign on the first decent weather window we've had for
Awhile.

Yes definitely also noticed this crossing south channel at dead low Saturday. Seemed the bar has narrowed quite a bit As there were waves breaking where they don't normally Break.

Yeah waves breaking more in the middle on low and coming back in on mid tide used old track but whole area had white caps so bit confused at first. Could be hard to pick on a bigger swell

Beautiful day out there today, we managed a nice Stripey on a skipjack coloured lure at around the 110m mark just North of the Manukau entrance. Estimated 97kg (based on girth and length measurements). First time ever trolling for Marlin so very exciting to hook and then land one (father in law on the rod).

Lots of skippies out there but didn't pick up any Albacore.

Nice one there dude. Pretty good conditions today over the bar, hung around skippie schools in 110-120 m with best temp of 22.9 .lots good current and temp breaks but no stickface for us but heard couple of captures over the radio. Sauris were seen on the way out and few schools of dolphins
