I'm after a heavier softbait rod (spin).

Keen on the Abu garcia velocity 9kg model, or a nanomatrix 6-10 or 8-12kg.

I Have the velocity in 2-5kg. Not for sale. Just saying it will cast an ounce and fish 2kg of drag easy. Sensitive too. Fantastic rod.

I'm pretty sure there is still a Nanomatrix in the 6-10 for sale on the forum, with a sweet looking upgraded spin reel. Seller is Stripstrike.

I can highly recommend one of the heavier Hearty Rise 8ft rods from GoFish - casts bigger jigheads beautifully, you can really tell the difference between that an a 7ft rod in terms of distance. Top quality components, Fuji K guides etc.
Balances nicely with a 4000 Stradic or 3000 Daiwa.

Nice, cheers team. Will check out gofish when I can get out there. I had a look at the hearty rise rods on gofish site but they are a bit much for me.

Still keen to pick up a 2nd hand one if there's one kicking around.
