Real Crayzee gets the thumbs up.

Well Tzer, you win the fn spoiler badge for too much knowledge and no ability to not play with your John Henry.
Next time read the post and keep your powder dry.

As an encouragement to new game fisherman to expand their knowledge and enthusiasm for there sport you definetly failed.

Since you answered correctly it behooves me to supply the answer.

Although not considered a record as it was caught on a balloon rig by a fisherman in the Kaipara harbour, this fish weighed in at an incredible 662 kg.
Think about that, that s a massive fish.

In the early stages of Gamefishing in NZ, rods were made from a local wood.

So what was the wood and any ideas on the technique of manufacture?
