That's amazing results Roofless. I was out there yesterday as well trying to get off the mark. I blame people like you for inspiring me to blow 100 litres of gas every other weekend.

Thanks

I heard you guys out there chatting but didn't realize who it was as I didn't check back in on this thread until back home. I did jump in and ask what depth you found your mahimahi to which you very obligingly shared the info thanks.

We gave it a crack but only ended up with a big bin of skippies. Fun was had though and I'll be stronger for next season!

I'm pretty new at all this, but finding it's good to know your not alone all the way out there.

Cheers guys

Well we thought it would be rude not to go out again today so we did set the gear around the 80 and work our way out and around and decided to try for a different species and boom 130 kilo sword. Happy days

Putting my neck out here, but.
Well I hear someone has nailed some more impressive fish today.
This maybe a great fishing epic achievement that is still yet to be told.
And may not yet be concluded as the season still keeps on rolling on, and particularaly for this boat and crew.
Awaiting keenly the reports ......

Brian and the team on Darkhorse what an amazing season. I'm gonna die happy if I get a lifetime grand slam. To get a super slam in one season and frikken OUT WEST is just amazing.
Team Liquid Asset are in awe of your achievement.

Yeah mate got to agree that is one hell of an achievement, Just the fact they have 25 stripeys from the Manukau is epic but to also get a Blue a Black and a  Broady from The Manukau in the one season is insane.Clap
Winning.....
