Do you think with all these W/SW winds that the West Auckland Current will be pushed in a lot closer this season. bringing the fish within reach sooner than later, could be at the back of the Manukau by the end of December. Maybe, my crystal ball has blown off the boat will all the wind.

The cobwebs should have held that crystal ball in place pretty well!

'Twas a brilliant day out there, the skippies were in close and the albies just huge.
Caught my livies behind the bar and those nailed a huge Marlin on the livebaiting at the hundred metre Mark.

I apologise as this is a dream. Like you I'm awaiting the opportunity to cross the bar safely. Or this would be an actual fishing story.
Just cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!

You thought something happened out there.

It did, we just weren't there to see it.

Anyone rekon the manukau is ok for 27th 28th? Ish. 1.5 to 2m swell. Light easterlies variables. There is big bit of swell running up from the south as usual. Might be too much swell for my liking.
