Great water colur and temp but devoid of life got really sloppy too
Methinks fish are holding toward the bay
I think a boat called megabyte landed a fin or marlin out wide of arid

Thanks for that report Malinmarty.

I was talking to a boat fishing behind the Knight, lost a marlin, area was not holding bait middayish

Talked to another boat at 5pmin the exact same spot and there was a mga workup. not to sure how they got on though.

There were two huge work ups there yesterday, one at whangaruru, acres of birds.

Then later a huge work up up in 200 m and only two boats heard in the zone.
Just cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!

An earlier post was saying 8" lures (larger Zuker zucchini) and smaller skirted lures as well as minnows and swimmers.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Heres one we got on Saturday. Was first one for my boat after 2 trips this season so pretty stoaked. The pricks even made me wind it in on my own boat. Done my exercise for the year.
Was 450 off the V good water and marked random bait sitting down at 50m. Got to see this one hit the lure as we were talking about it at the time. Was almost like a little crash bite.
Good day out there and lots drank.

What's this going on Friday? I'm out Saturday too at this stage. First trip for the season. Fingers crossed the weather forecasters are on the money.
I wonder if I should use up one of my four solo days..............
Still a couple of bottles of rum up for grabs for the first tag and Landed.
Probably not though as haven't dusted off the cobwebs yet.
