Thought I'd tell you of our adventures. Fairly new at game fishing. Only had caught 1 before early in the season. Went out Friday and started at Aldie Pins. Heard on ch 61 of some action at Ammo dump area so headed that way. Got out to about the 800 m mark when we were hit on the rigger then hit again on short corner. Panic stations on the boat as 2 reels were screaming. Lost 1 stripes after 10 mins but got the other to the boat to be released. Chucked the lures over and only got 1 going when bang - holy heck we were on again. Got that one to boat and released. Sunday went to the same area and caught and released another. Hooked on gamefishing now!! Bring on next season.

Anyone been out recently from Merc Bay?

We did a trip a few weeks back for Swords. Daydropping at the Aldy Knoll where we pull hooks on one just under the boat then a night at Mayor for no bites (well none that woke us up). Back out next weekend weather permitting.

Anyone else planning a mish?
