Yeah cheers AJ it was a battle but felt reasonably confident after the initial carnage of the first run going under our boat & the other Epic boat next to us & after the line cleared from round it tail other than that it was all good

Haha I would like to make such a claim but that particular Synit is a 400g-600g Razar so wee bit more than a snapper rod
As a matter of fact I was just talking with Graeme about the rod today & discussed the amount of lift it offers during the fight.

Spent Friday around mayor knolls. Lures in 100m line on first light, earnest temp 20.0 all day. Regularly saw bait and birds, no strikes or sightings and nothing on bungees all day.. had a quick jig in near mayor for some nice kingys to 15kg. Slow trip home into 20kn SW. Good day out

Did anyone come across any fish in the weekend? We shot out to Mayor when the wind dropped at about midday on Saturday, trolled between 200-300m north of mayor. No sign of fish. Wondering if anyone else had better luck than ours.
