Went East outa Tuts, across the knob on the 300m contour Nth of the Mokes, then along the 300 - 500m contour out to around 13m NE of the 155. Dolphins Black Birds, no gannets 20.5 deg out wide and starting to get bluish... Came back across the Bream Knolls and water clarity was at best clean green. Saw a couple of sunfish, a couple of large mantas, a school of jellybean skip pies on the Middle knoll... No marlin sighted. Big day - over 120 miles.

Headed out from Omaha on glassy seas today.

Dropped lures in at 100m line between big Barrier and Mokes. Water was 20.4 and nice blue and got up to bout 21 degrees out at 150m. Plenty skippies about, followed a few lazy Dolphins and Gannets for a while, but nothing happening. Dropped a jig over a rock for a frost fish, then accounted for a shark on the dropper.
Had this on the sounder between 20-40m deep for about a mile. Dropped a bottomship jig down but nothing. Any ideas? Sorry bout the rubbish pic.

Mint day, glassy right up till 2:30 then only a ripple on the water. Back to Omaha bay to find hundreds of Dolphins and Gannets going crazy.

Was wondering if it could be thermocline when it didn't want a bar of my jig or lures.

I think more than likely thermocline, mine was at 40m  most of the day back of Barrier last Friday - I had patches of bait here and there than showed up but looked like thermocline on my sounder with associated micro plankton thingies..
