Swording today at tougue and outer patch.scraped with 2 rather large thresher sharks for a good part of the day , bummer as we thought both fish could be big swords as they played the part.water was around 19c with hints of blue, still heaps of bait round

Another sword day at patch on wednesday after last week hot bite thought better give it crack.had a small pull and came tight on something with a bit of weight.all called it for yet another thresher as just big dead weight untill about 100 below.then got some big head shakes and a big fast sustain pull all the way down 500,the team were amped now as now sure big sword was on.some more give and take for just under two hours and up pops the big grey ghost of a rather large thresher.bummer.no bites rest of day.still heaps of bait out there at all depths.just some bloody sore thighs to show for it!
