Good morning,
There has been plenty of rain recently , and rivers have been up and down over the past few days but quite fishable. They have been difficult to cross at times and will all be up over the next day or so, so you will need to take care.
Fishing has been up and down much like the rivers, with the springfed streams having a great deal more pressure that the other catchment fed streams. Keep an eye on the forecast, rivers do drop away quite quickly once the rain stops though the lake is still relatively high
The rain that has fallen over night has been heavy and wild and has affected the levels.
With this cold snap being one of the first and the heaviest snow to date, lets hope the lower temperatures hold and the fish are encouraged to move.
The spring fed streams could fish well over the next few days as the bigger catchments, empty out.
Take care on the water and the roads, feel free to call for an update.
Cheers Pete and Stella
