At last there is some rain forecasted for the next few days. Lets hope that we get some at night so we can still do what we enjoy during the day!
We have had a great week of calm, sunny weather. It has been a bit cloudy at times, which has been good for fishing.
Little pressure has allowed those that are out and about plenty of choice. There are good numbers of fish in all the tributaires. You can find pockets, mostly of hens about in good condition.
Traditional humpies are starting to surface in the river which we expect at this time of year.
River mouths and the lake are still producing fish too. The wind has been minimal which has been a blessing and fish are holding off all the mouths. Harling is in full swing and fish are at the 3-4-5 colour level at present. Fishing in close and early has been productive for most.
Lake O has also had some activity, unpredictable weather, but realatively settled which has allowed anglers boating or lake edge fishing.
Take care on the water and feel free to call for an update and or accommodation anytime.
Cheers,
Pete and Stella 073868953
