The Yamaha Bat Boat has taken to the water in the inaugural races of the South Island Powerboat Marathon series.
The Ocke Mannefelt designed 7m vee bottom race boat powered by the F200 VMAX SHO engine (80mph/130kmh +), came 3rd on the first day and pt on the second day in its respective class.
