The team from Honda Marine and Fyran put the new Fyran 610HT through it’s paces in this excellent video which is a shining example of using drone technology to really show how a boat and engine perform.

Fyran has a long history in New Zealand, and Fyran boats can be seen at every boat ramp through the country.

Fyran established itself as a name for robust, soft riding, stable, and seaworthy craft with each boat lasting the distance and often being handed down through generations of keen fishers and boaties. More recently, Fyran has invested heavily in a significant design and upgrade program to provide new models that cater to the needs and expectations of the modern-day fisherman and family users.

The evolution of the new Fyran range started with the very successful release of the Fyran 550 in July 2014 which featured a new level in construction, finish, standard features and ride. The designers and engineers overlaid Fyran’s well proven hull construction and designs developed over the last 46 years; with new manufacturing techniques to continue the heritage of  building quality boats. The Fyran550 featured a stiffer hull, clean lines, and all the comforts of a modern fishing and day boat. 

Subsequently, Fyran has expanded the  range further  with each boat going through a vigorous design and construction stage to deliver a top quality product. The new range includes:

The Fyran 440, now built with a 4mm hull,  with a 450 Litre positive buoyancy chamber and offering a great stable platform.

The Fyran 510, the baby brother to the Fyran 550 available in cuddy cabin and centre console, designed specifically for the fisherman in mind.

The Fyran 610HT is Fyran’s latest hardtop which has a comfortable balance of cockpit space and shelter from the elements, great deck space for fishing and has been described as a BIG 6 meter boat. All of this and it is still easily towed on a single axle trailer.

The Fyran 660HT featuring a mammoth amount of fishing space with ample room for 4 anglers, a 1800mm long forward cabin and a long list of standard features.
