Penn Conflict II spin reel

Housed within the Conflict’s RR30 (Rigid Resin) body are seven stainless-steel bearings and a CNC gear technology system, where the pinion, drive and oscillation gears are individually machined to exact tolerances. Further weight reduction is achieved via a carbon-infused handle with an oversized EVA ball grip. The Conflict II utilises Penn’s trusted HT100 carbon-fibre drag washers, providing smooth and consistent drag pressure.

Four models of the Conflict II are offered, covering a wide range of applications. The 2500 Conflict II is the smallest of the family, weighing 224g, while the largest – the 5000 – weighs 408g. Gear ratios range from 6.2:1, with 83cm of line retrieved on the 2500, through to the 5000’s 5.6:1, resulting in 90cm of line retrieved. Maximum drag settings start at 5.5kg in the smaller models to 11kg on the largest.
