The New Zealand product catalogue will include the Ocean Safety range of liferafts, the Jonbuoy man overboard recovery range and KRU lifejackets.

The Ocean Safety liferaft range offers a series of liferafts from 6-person to 130-person, ranging from Throwover and Davit to ORL (Open Reversible Liferafts) - all available with various emergency pack options to suit specific requirements ideal for the blue water sailor to commercial operators.

Hutchwilco are also introducing the new Ocean range of entry-level liferafts, available in both valise (soft) and hard-shell container options, in 4-person and 6-person. This range is ideal for the yacht, trailer boat and launch market, offering incredibly affordable value, with prices starting at around $1,900.

Ocean Safety also have super lightweight liferaft solutions, offering obvious benefits for yacht designers, but most importantly larger liferafts are now easier to handle and deploy, with an up to 24-hour survival pack a 10-person canister UltraLite weighing little more than a 4-man valise liferaft.

Jonbuoy offers a variety of man overboard recovery systems, from inflatable horseshoe life rings to the more sophisticated Recovery Module.

The Jonbuoy Recovery Module is designed to make the recovery of an overboard person a simple operation, whilst increasing vital visibility and buoyancy for the casualty. The module is accepted as a direct replacement for a traditional danbuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light and whistle, specified within the ISAF offshore special regulations.

The KRU lifejacket range includes high performance, constant wear lifejackets, designed to suit all boaties, yachtsmen and professional marine users. Built for the rigors of a more demanding constant wear environment, the KRU Sport range is the choice of those needing high standards of equipment.

Hutchwilco will also offer servicing of the liferafts, lifejackets and Jonbuoy range through its sales and service division – Wilco Marine Services, based in Westhaven.

The Ocean Safety range of products will be available through leading marine chandlers.
