It's good news, baby!

When keen Wellington fisherman Andy and partner Chantal wished to announce the future arrival of their child to friends and family, they used a bit of creative licence based on an advert they liked.

Composite Sports, distributors of Okuma product among other things, has been running a popular ‘Born to Fish’ advertising campaign that featured a crusty old fisherman ‘baby’ in a number of angling situations over the last few years.

This concept inspired the Wellington couple to Photoshop a billboard with a scan of their own baby, complete with fishing rod, before sending the altered artwork out to friends and family, informing them of their good news.
