Big Angry Fish play hosts on L&B stand

Lusty and Blundell will again have an interesting range of Raymarine marine electronics and associated equipment on its stand (297) at this year’s Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show.

Also on hand will be Big Angry Fish hosts Milan Radonich and Nathan O’Hearn every afternoon from 3pm to meet and greet show patrons. Nathan’s kayak set up will also be on display.

Of interest to those looking for electronics to fit to their kayak or small runabout is the new range of Dragonfly sounder-plotters. These offer a mix of DownVision and CHIRP DownVision sonar, dual-channel CHIRP sonar, new WiFish DownVision sonar, GPS and chart-plotting.

By including the CHIRP technology in their new 4.3-inch and 5-inch widescreen displays, and their highly innovative Wi-Fish black box viewable on any sized smart device, Raymarine has become the first marine technology company to offer such advanced fish-finding capability in units that start at under $339.

With four oversize button controls and intuitive four-way cursor pad (great for cold hands and big fingers), the new Dragonfly units are easy to use, with owners simply dialling through display choices and set-up options.

Also displayed on this year’s stand is the RescueMe range of personal locator beacons. The three devices are designed to work under the most challenging of conditions to ensure search and rescue personnel quickly locate anyone in distress, regardless of whether they are still on board the primary vessel, in a liferaft or in the water.
