We provide all fishing and safety gear required. Feel free to bring along your own personal fishing gear.

We fish the beautiful Gisborne coast with its wide range of fish habitats we are able to easily target a very wide range of fish species.


Boat Details:

“Tzer” is a custom built White Pointer 840 Pro Sportsman and is surveyed for 8 plus 2 crew carrying a wide range of safety equipment on board including a life raft. Tzer is the 4th boat to bear this name and is a 8.4m long fully enclosed hard top with a beam of 2.75m providing a safe and stable fishing platform. Custom built & launched in October, 2013 “Tzer” is powered by D4 260hp Volvo Penta diesel inboard.

Fitted with the latest in electronics from both Furuno & Simrad

The cockpit features 2 in floor livebait tanks and 2 tuna tubes. The engine is situated midships allowing anglers to fully walk around. One of the nicest and biggest features of the 840 is the walk through transom. With no outboard to contend with anglers are effectively able to fish 3 sides of the boat with ease.

“Tzer” has a huge amount of rod storage with a 14 double row rocket launcher, 10 rod holders in the gunnels and 12 rod holders placed on a large central bait station, also added is a game chair.


Accommodation:

Essentially a day boat Tzer can sleep up to 5 people. The boat is also equiped with a flush toilet.


Fishing Equipment / Tackle:

We have a wide range of quality tackle from Shimano, Penn, Accurate & Jigstar

Safety Equipment:

Fitted with the latest in electronics from both Furuno & Simrad.

The boat has an 8 man liferaft plus EPIRB


Daily Rate:

We offer a range of pre set packages to suit most anglers. We can also create custom packages to suit your group of anglers individual needs.

Standard rate $1200 per day up to six anglers.

Ladies only days $900 per day up to six angler.

All tackle, bait & ice supplied.

Trips depart / details:

A typical day is 8 hours long. Weather dependent we usually depart at 6am and depending on the fishing return at 2 - 3pm. Other times outside these hours can be made by arrangement when booking.
