We specialise in jigging and stick baiting for kingfish and soft plastic fishing for king fish, snapper etc.
Boat Details:
Our boat, Legal Action is a purpose built 8.2m alloy with twin 150hp Mercury motors. It boasts a substantial working deck area so you aren't cramped for space while your'e playing those big kingies and snappers.
Accommodation:
I am happy to recommend or arrange accommodation for out of town anglers. Alternatively, I can provide out of town anglers with fully catered home-stay accommodation on a share-twin basis at very reasonable rates, just let me know your requirements when you book your charter.
Fishing Equipment / Tackle:
I carry a mix of good quality jig, stick-bait and soft-bait rods, reels and lures of various brands including Shimano, JigStar, Berkley and Off-shore. All gear is available for hire on a per day basis, but you are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.
Safety Equipment:
Legal Action is in safe ship management and is fully surveyd to MNZ standards. We carry all the required safety equipment to meet survey requirements. This includes an EPIRB, life jackets for all on board as well as a fully stocked first aid kit.
Daily Rate:
Rates and charges are dependent on the type of fishing you want to do and where you want to go. Prices range from $1000 to $1200 per day (GST inclusive). Please contact me for the price of your proposed trip.
Trips depart / details:
Charters are tailored to your specific requirements, they can be from 1 day to multi-day charters. All are full day trips (at least 8 hours - subject to weather and sea conditions) Most charters will leave from the Sulphur point boat ramp, but I am happy to depart from other ports by arrangement.
