So got a bit lucky to hook and land a good size Trumpeter on a jig over the weekend. My firstWink

Wonder if anyone can provide some cooking tips/recipes how to best cooke'em.

Very good most of the usual ways to cook fish mate...i like trumpet tin foil parcels baked in the over....add finely chopped red onion, squeeze of lemon and a light sprinkle of grated cheese - if topping with cheese when trumpet is cooked open parcel and grilled the top....or indeed add any other herbs that you enjoy.

Also good pan fried with Cathedral Cove Macidamia Sprinkle....
