1800m spool of daiwa boat braid, really nice stuff. I think I got a spool delivered for around $300 nz recently (compared with around $180-200 for 300m of varivas/YGK).

I brought some of that Gosen 4-5yrs ago and have it on my 4000P Ocea Jigger Graeme  and never had any breakages(includes 2 trips to 3 kings)
Never knew it was available in NZ, it is awesome stuff. Cheers

Yep posted it here because I'm keen to check out the options for topwater braid, I'm gonna buy some and am keen to see what other people are using.

I don't need so many KMs of it just to spool a reel so the Daiwa boat braid is out, is the Gosen Jigging Braid good as a casting braid?

It's one of the slickest braids I have seen in years, I have the thin PE0.8 Gosen Omega on a small spin reel and it's ideal for casting
