Anyone know where to get a couple decent priced SU bent butts to suit the ultra tiagra rods, absolutely love the rods but 350 for a bent butt is not what I want to be spending me $$$ on...

I went through this a short time ago and end up buying a shimano status rod just to swap the bent but over to the tiagra rod

what size you need Dave? UB2 i presume which are your normal 24kg size( internal diameter 25mm compared to UB4= 37kg which are 30mm)
I have 4 x 2nd hand ones here or can get you new ones if required

Just been through this exercise for some PAC Bay AB2SCBG butts. If you didn't want another rod, like the Status rod mentioned above, I found this place in the US pretty reasonably priced.

$US68 is a little better than Kilwells $229 list price, especially if you need several.

Used those a lot deep dropping for snapper and grouper. Nice rods that can take a hiding. Not too sure I would want to take on a big fish with one though.
