Bear in mind that it is not really the best time to go - although it depends what your are targeting.

Today would have been perfect!

I went in early August  4 years ago and we swam with a giant salp, it was epic, you just never know what will turn up at White.

we shot Kingfish, it was just like any other trip to white, but only 15 degrees.

+1 for Joe Burke, you'll get great experience with him.

if he's not avail then you've:

Dive Worx
Blag Shag
Phantom

Ive used the top two before I bought my own boat, not cheap, probably looking at $1500 a day now.

A doz?  might be bit big group, 8 would be max, 6 would be more palatable.

any time, summer usually has warmer water and more baitfish and a chance of something big swimming past.  Ive only seen Yellowfin Tuna and Marlin there during summer months.  The rest of the time the majority of fish are the same all year round.
