That's NOT what is said in the instructions for Bug Bond.
I need to get this stuff sent back. The flies have stuck together on the bench! At least the torch has another use showing where the cats pee in the house, more use than UV flies!

Just tried out two of the three types in the pack, very impressed, sets in less than 30 seconds under my little 21 LED Black Magic UV torch. Really just wanted to see if it would set with the torch, otherwise was looking at getting one of those UV nail dryers that Clark mentioned, might still do that if I get more serious with this epoxy. Real fun experimenting with it and way quicker than the old epoxy's!

Hey mate, you know when you're working with this stuff, can you add a blob on say 20 flies at a time and then just go over with the torch or do you need to do them as and when you put the goo on.

Thinking of large quantity ties - eg Epoxied wing cases and the like.

Definately better to do as you go Kev, the stuff runs, although there are various densities.

As Clark has rightly said, straight out of the tube, the stuff tends to run a bit, both the thin and the thick versions that I tried did this, so I kept slowly rotating the vice after applying the epoxy to the fly, when it looked even, I exposed it to the UV, less than 15 seconds to activate (more accurate watch watching!), so while the fly is in the vice, its just as easy to do one at a time.  Still, no reason why you can't tie a heap of flys and then epoxy each in turn, activating the epoxy one at a time.Wink
