We were out jigging some pins around mayor on Sat, saw a boat in the distance which stayed at the knolls for most of the day, was that you mate?

Mayor knolls.

Couldn't catch any kingies so went and got some bluenose instead.  Was on the old mans trailer boat.  plenty of jellyfish to go with the sunfish.  Sea like glass.

Less of the old sunshine! True about the sunfish though, was a bit of a surprise and it was quite small (as sunfish go).

we out of Tauranga , out past the lab 2 purse seiners where working the top end of motitie, and their bustard was flying around so keeping of them for some mile or so we had a look see, one dropped its net , they where working a line from the top of motitie to inside of mayor

we picked up one albie out a bit from them , I think the seiners have cleaned out the area on the inside there , never saw any work ups , stayed the night in south east

next morning went out to the knoles for one jewel fish, then a troll , flat seas no work ups, 2 albies one large skippy , never saw much and not that many birds around but early days yet,

water, we got 19c out the back of the island , water around s/e and Tauranga side was not looking good ,

pretty well blipped out on bottom fishing lots of red cod about,

but good to pull some plastic and get rid of a few cobwebs
