The floats can be used for big fish. They can be pumped to high pressures and will not crush if dragged under.

11L for 'big game'? Maybe as part of a chain of floats, but it wouldn't be sensible to use an 11L inflatable as your only float if you're after big fish. These floats will compress when pulled under and turn in to little more than a rag trailing behind the fish.

Hi Herby, What makes you feel that these floats will collapse?
 Being soft that cant fail by collapsing. The floats are designed for big fish. If you were targeting a big game fish a second float on an additional floatline in series is a good idea.

He means compress, not collapse.  I've seen an RA 35 go completely flat on a low 20s dogtooth in Vanuatu like a big egg noodle.  It came wiggling back up after he got smoked by reefies. The bungy was probably mostly to blame...

That said, these would be more than adequate for most anything in NZ.

These ones get pumped up to 1.5bar Kolt - would have to get down to 5m before it even starts compressing.
