I'm looking at getting an extension of some sort put onto my boat trailer to make beach launching a bit easier. I thought maybe a folding type galved box section so it can be folded out the way when not used.
The trailer is a Watercraft single axle with a Stabi 509 on top.
Has anyone on the forum had any experience getting this done? Any advice will be appreciated.

Might need it at neap low tide on the club ramp as well Wink

I also had a chat to the Ulric street guy re some trailer mods and he seemd pretty clued up.  Had a boat trailer getting brakes installed whilst I was there.

Be aware that if you modify the existing trailer too much the WOF authority may ping you for a ripoff engineers report!!!

I remember a forum member using a single separate bar arrangement that simply had a ball on one end and coupling on the other and stored it on the trailer.
