Haha maybe something to pioneer? 11 Degrees is comparable to top of the south this time of year, maybe we should do a trip. I'll gas up the boat.

are you surprised and dismayed by the arrival of xmas displays, or did you miss my point about the fact that xmas seems to come earlier every year, but the kingies don't.

Got wet today for the first time in forever. went out of Delaware around Pepin for a cruise. About 5m vis till about 5m down then it got pretty dark and murky. Nothing shootable seen and even the old man picked up nothing on the set line. Was still real nice to have a look. Water was cold .but not too bad, specially with the sun beaming down

Come on lads weres all the reports at? Went upto durville on Sunday with the old man and dan, crays are still out deep as dan went down to 26m on the bubbles and still couldn't find the buggers. Vis was 2m max all day and butters were all very flighty. Cod are monsterious up there nothing taken under 40cm for the day. Topside conditions were primo! Bring on next weekend

Hi All,

Hoping for a bit of local advice ahead of a camping trip over labour weekend. Staying near Portage and looking to get a recommendation on some decent spots for a shore dive or accessible with a kayak. Eyeing up the map I have been looking in the direction of Titirangi Bay and Port Gore, within an hour or two drive would be great. Also any pointers for where to start looking for scallops?

The sounds is new territory for me so any suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers
