Hey ill have to give it a go next time.. Coz we were at waiwera hot pools and me and few friends got out of the pools and walked over to the mahurangi rock for a look at about 4pm tide was almost out.. And ended up diving for kinas, my mate started shivering so we went back into waiwere hot pools with our full sack and kicked it in the pools till 10pm.. drove back to the cabins and totally pancaked it on the bunks.. But that high was pretty threatining.. It was fair smashing up against the wall.
But thanks for all the info guys.. Ill definately be trying those spots next time.. Me and the mates were planing for a trip out Whangaparaoa but i think around that rock looked more promising.
