Didn't know where to post this thread. Few tackle heads who browse here so here goes.

I was of the understanding that the sustain was part of the twinpower series of reels. Japan has a range of twinpower models for their domestic market. Why is there such a price difference between these named models? Any light or good oil on these reels and the differences there of would be appreciated. Cheers.

KN.... I am told that the new model Twinpower reels have much  the same specs as the old model FA Stellas , hence the price hike. SW Stella in another league againThumbs Up

IMO the older JDM Twin Power is better than the new ones Kevin.

From the bits I've picked up the Twinpower and Sustain are of very similar design but better materials for some parts and extra bearing or so for the twinpower. They definitely look pretty similar.

Sustain should still be a mint reel though.

Cheers Mark, I'd already read that forum thread. Seems to be al ot of information out there about the Twin Powers but bugger all about the Sustains. Overseas the sustains are less than half the price.
