The months of toil are now at an end and "El Donna" is fully freshned up, fueled up, packed up, blessed, and about to imbark on her 1st journey into northern waters chasing down the mighty
Tetrapturus audax, Makaira indica , Makaira mazara, and any other
Tetrapturus subspecies that maybe fool enough to play with the lures we deem appropriate to feed out back into yonder pressure waves .
Initial crew of Wetspot, Dead Ant and Bushpig are due to leave Port Waipuna
at 0900 for a shakedown run to Gt Barrier and final set up which I trust will be further blessed with a fine feed of Snapper , Kingfish and Scollies tonight before the real deal begins with a lesurley troll north to the Poor Knights Sunday where Chief Gladiator "Grunta" will be boarding.
So, the let the games begin, and better late than never I say ! ! ! and watch this space for regular reports as we fish our near and wide over the next 5 days.
Have a great weekend everyone !
