Hi team,

Seeing all the photos of tropical trips make me sad (more like jealous) during the winter. If you are lucky enough to be going on one of these trips you might be interested in a home made 3 band teak gun I'm selling. It works a treat and is a good toy to take into the warm pacific! I've put it on trademe if you're interested in a bargain. I'm selling it because its really hard to justify to the wife why I have two guns the same!

Cheers,

Shed this isn't a shot at you becasue it has been done here before and there is precedent. Sorry it just so happens to be in your topic but I'm procrastinating at uni so now is a good a time as ever for the typing of my thoughts.

I think unless the gear is being offered for sale soley on here, then it is spam.
However "I have gun x for sale, anyone on here want it? If not it'll be going on trademe in a week" is completely different as then it appears the seller is genuinely interested in helping another keen spearo not just extra advertising to make sure they get the most dosh for their gear.

Dammit LJ, I think I am getting old and grumpy....
BANNED from doing anything about anything anymore.

Not enough diving ^ LOL

What you say is true JRDO.  There is a section on f.net solely for selling stuff.
I know that this time of year is hard to sell old gear.  I had my fins on trademe for 2 months and a bit before they went.

Yes there is a precedent, thought someone here might be interested because if they didn't check trademe they wouldn't know. JRDO No offence taken... now get back to your study!!!!!!
