I've found the Top Catch store in Westhaven to be excellent. Might be a bit far for you though.
Nobody has ever come up with a great idea after a second bottle of water.

There is a seafood factory on Swanson Road that is pretty good.
They must be about 600 Swanson Road on the left before the RSA and the turn off to Nth Candia Rd.

Might have to give it a go, i'm sick of that fine crap, been given a heap of pellets also, anyone tried those? I'm guessing there is a reason that they were given away.

Pellets can be handy, usually keep a bag on boat and chuck some out as on surface with cubed bait when I cant be fagged dropping the berley pot. Mate of mine was a butcher, had this brainwave once to use all the dust from their bandsaw as berley, ended up with a oil slick on the water that attracted every bird in the Upper north island to the boat, think he only tried it once........LOL
Dont take life too seriously.....no one gets out alive any way.

Norcross. 10kg for $30. I dry salt them down for about 10 days and store in a 20 ltr bucket with a lid. They last for up to a year without refridgeration and toughen up a lot.
