Ok so my mates F90 is 3.5liters better off in the sump from it's last service.

We guessed it's full of fuel?

The engine only has 150hrs and was fine at it's 100hr service.

His cousin filled the tank with diesel last month and they drained it and topped up with petrol but some diesel would have remained, I can't see that being a problem as the engine ran as normal?

Anyone got any knowledge on this one?

The mechanic seemed lost.

Diesil in fuel the injectors will be leaking at low speed and should be a bit of white smoke. fuel in oil id say.Get the injectors checked.and change oil.The next stage from having to much oil/fuel in sump is damaged rings and then oil consumption.Cheers.

Done Space Boy, We ran it yesterday after an oil change and gave it heaps coming home so we will see when we check the level.

I read that if the thermostat is playing up they overfuel with this result also....

Thanks.
